Did anyone else see the trailer for this movie , I seen it on T.V i think i like the original better.

I've never been a fan of The Hitcher and I did see the remake trailer. It looks like all those other backwoods types of movies that's been released recently. I'm not going to bother with this one.

i just saw a trailer for it....it looks like a typical remake. i barely remember the original though..lol didn't it have a sequel too, or am i thinking of something else?

You're thinking of the right movie, there is a sequel to The Hitcher.

The Hitcher 86 is one of my favourites of all time!!, Hauer was amazing in it as John Ryder. I just saw the remake and the acting sucked in it(except for Sean Bean, who played John Ryder) but the action/horror/gore more then made up for the acting. Obviously the original was better but i liked the remake, especially because they played Nine Inch Nails in the main chase scene.  |
