Above-average made-for-TV thriller about a retarded man who rescues a young girl from a dangerous situation. The good ol' boys of the Southern town figure Bubba was responsible for the attack on the girl, and they shoot him down in a cornfield. Soon after, a mysterious scarecrow begins killing off the townsfolk who wronged Bubba.  |

They used to show this all the time for Halloween. I'm not sure if I've ever really watched it. I hope it comes on this year.

Oh yes, it used to come on TBS all the time. Now it is very hard to find.
