In the 1800's, the sinister Dr. Malthus endeavored to unlock the secrets of immortality in his basement laboratory, using kidnapped women as guinea pigs for his hideous experiments. Malthus was tried and convicted for murder, and hanged for his crimes against humanity. Two generations later, a respectable physician who is a descendent of Malthus inherits the home of his crazed ancestor. While inspecting the property, he stumbles upon a secret passage to the basement laboratory, and soon finds journals which detail the work of Malthus. Unable to resist his scientific curiosity, the doctor exhumes the corpse of his dead ancestor, and brings it back to life using the methods described in the journals. Newly reincarnated, Malthus resumes his work where he left off, employing the same deadly techniques as before - no one is safe from his diabolical efforts, not even his own family!
