Is anyone having trouble with the board accepting changes to their profile? I tried to change my avatar to one that I host myself and the board refuses to accept the changes for some reason. I have always been able to up until yesterday and now it won't allow me to do it. can't really figure out why either. it will allow me to use one of the ones that CSG has in the avatar list just not one i host myself....weird..anyone else changed theirs that has had the same issue?

When you change your avatar you have to erase the old url then click save on your profile go back and then add the url you want to the same place . If that dont work let me know and i can see if i can help .

Try setting the board default avatars to none...

Is the url spelled right? Sounds stupid but sometimes its the simplest mistakes that elude us...
Also make sure your completely deleting the url textbox before entering the remote one ANd setting the forum avatar box to none...

Also make sure your completely deleting the url textbox before entering the remote one ANd setting the forum avatar box to none... yes...it is all fine. i had a personal one set 2 days ago and when i changed it to the new one it refused to update...it won't even go back to the old one i had. it is hosted @ photbucket so i know the url is correct. i have tried resetting everything i know in the setting too....weird that it would just start when i changed it. |

it finally worked. i kept messing with the show avatar option and kept refreshing my profile and tried to add the url and it finally added it. i thought i did that yesterday but i guess not....now that i have the avatar on there though i don't know if i like it...lol  thanks rassilon for picking my brain a bit to figure it out. i figured it was something simple. its almost like my profile was stuck or something in none.lol |
