I think there are different types of witchcraft practiced in this country. Some would be considered satanic like the family down the road from me that has been reported as conducting animal sacrifices and killing the pets of neighbors. Although these people have not been charged to date, perhaps there is some justification for taking action in the interests of their children. But it is easier to get away with dangerous behaviors in the country

Well look who it is! LOL I think it depends on what you beleive and how you use it. Example: If you only use it to attain power, thats evil if you use it help people it's good. But then again some people out there think it's all evil, no matter what.

You know csg, if I start commenting on all this stuff it's going to end up getting people mad. It's just like politics and religion. If I say yes, witchcraft is evil and go into why I believe it is, others will disagree and we'll end up in an argument.

I never really thought of witchcraft to be evil. I always thought you could do evil with it but never thought it was all evil.

I tell more about it.
There are many differnt types of witchcraft. Green witchcraft, Faerie, Dianic, Alexandrian theres also many more. I don't really pactice a certain one, mines more of a mix in between Celtic and Green. I suppose I'm a hedgewitch, we grow herbs use in spells and are intersted in conserving the earth, I don't go all out just the basics(don't litter or whatever). Every full moon most witches take this time to charge potions or other things used in spell craft, or we have Esbat celebrations. My brother was in Woodstock last week and he bought me some sage from a wiccan. I love sage, I use it to smudge items and people(smugeing is like blessing, like holy water but in smoke form). Most witches have atleast one animal totem, which is a spirtual companion that keeps you protected, like an angel but in animal form. Mine is a fox. Wicca is actually the beleif that there is two spirits that are actually one, the male, the god and the female, the goddess. I belive that there is one Divine Spirit that controls the uiverse. You can be any faith to be wiccan and you don't have to change your beliefs just add them to you work.

I know Norm that you think it is evil , It can become Evil the ouija board i mean . And Wicca can be too if you want to use it for that reason . But lets have agreement right now with everyone that no one will take it personal with our thoughts and just remember how nice the person is and this is just a forum for our thoughts .
