I guess once again, they're trying to make the connection with Ed Gein as they did in the original. But Gein didn't have a family and didn't run around killing people with a chainsaw lol.

it is just the making the skin into clothing/outfit thing and other things like furniture mostly is what they get the gein stuff from. they also use another killer to base it from but i can't remember his name....according to hooper

Yeah, but they're being very loose with the truth when they make claims like that. But they'll sell more tickets that way.

This movie is pretty brutal. I think it's better than the remake, in my opinion.

I've seen it and it's an ok movie. It's pretty brutal, which I liked.
