To me a PG-13 movie doesn't mean it's a bad movie but how much Nudity and Violence can a PG-13 movie have? NONE! and without the violence and nudity it really isn't a true horror movie.

I know what you mean , But i am the kind of horror fan that likes that sort of thing involved . I know there are some awesome movies that have no nudity at all and are great films.

I agree with you! I think PG-13 should never be involved with horror of any kind, unless the movies are from the 60's and maybe 70's, like those Hammer films.

Yeah true i seen soe movies from the 60's that had some nudity in them , It was called Orgy Of The Dead . But i couldnt really get it . But it just feels like horror when you have some sexual cituations in them . Like when the couple gets killed in friday the 13th while they are making out . In almost every single one there is some kind of drug use and beer drinking friends . I just love those type of movies . But then again like horror4ever said there doesnt always has to be nudity in movies or drugs , Like for instance TCM Didnt have nudity and drugs but it was a awesome film .

Orgy Of The Dead
LOL..why does that movie sound so familiar to me?? I don't see anything wrong with a lot of the PG-13 films. Horror images can be much more disturbing than simple "blood and guts" R rated films.
PG 13 to me is just for the teenie boppers out there they know parents will not go to the movies so they are going for the teen dates on the weekend which it sucks for the rest. Once again America puts blind folds on our eyes.

That PG-13 stuff all started with The Sixth Sense, didn't it? It seems so to me. They're getting more violent than they used to be but even rated R ones suck nowadays.

Rated R is the reason i go see a horror movie , But like Riff said it is for the teens . The makers of these new horror movies are focusing on horror for kids . That is what i think .

But it amazes me with some of the violence and imagery in PG-13 films, that the MPAA believes it's appropriate for little kids to see by giving such a rating.
