I came up with the name Deathwish when I was a kid. I remeber watching Andre the Giant wrestle and I wanted to be big like him. So I came up with the name Deathwish. But the name kind of slipped and when I first started joing the boards I used the name Sandman or the sandman. The one day at Morbid I remeber seeing Andre wrestle on a DVD I have and the name popped back in my mind. Now I no longer want to be a wrestler and Deathwish is my band name in HS and my band.... Pain Inc. Its also a name that gets me through personal problems... lol |

Its also a name that gets me through personal problems... lol very cool DW..some people don't get how we get attached to screen names...but many people have been known by their names for years and like for you they can even be nicknames in real life like in your band. thanks for sharing. and even the connotations the name might have can even make us feel different and may even help us through problems in some cases...just sort of depends on the name and the problem...your is definitely a empowering name...although i will admit i think of a charles bronson movie every time i see you have posted something or you are signedone...lol |
