Something like it. It happens when I meditate. It has to be completly pitched black, exept for some incense buring. Either outside at night or in my bed room. I consentrate on my breathing and eventuslly I start feeling tingly and cold, like I'm "flying". It's really strange but it feels really good, I loose al my senses and as soon as I start to "see" things I just wake up and I feel so strained. It's something I can't explain.

Interesting. I believe that if you concentrate hard enough on something, or let loose "meditate" you can do anything.

I know that something like this happened to me , Some would say its bullshit but it really isnt . I was having major surgery and the doctor i guess had ounctured my bladder and i was bleeding to death . That is when i saw my body lieing on the gurny and i was above me . It was weird i saw and heard my grandmother and she told me it is not your time . Then i woke 9 hours later in ICU. That isnt the only time it has happened to me it happened when i was 8 years old . I had sizures for about a year and i had a really bad one i didnt know what happened to me then but all i know is that i was floating above and saw everything like a birds eye view and i saw the paramedics and me lieing there all blue . It is strange but it really happened to me .

I didn't have an out of body experience when I had that emergency surgery in April. I believe in it though. I've read too much about documented cases that cannot be explained away, besides if you believe people have souls, I don't know why this would be so difficult to accept.

I think I have an idea of what it feels like but I'm not really sure if it's right since I've never experienced it.

I think it would be really freaky if you were floating above your own body. Weren't you freaked out at all wondering why you are floating above your own body or didn't you think that maybe you were dead? I know that's the first thing that I would think.
